These are core limitations with QCC3040 chip (fokus pro/myst) as the ANC is integrated with lessor programmable rights. APTX Lossless – will be possible given the use of the new qualcomm chip (qcc3071). And they come with very expensive price tags.

Don’t discount the drivers and amplification inside. Remember aptX can carry up to 24 bits @ 48 kHz and I suspect many people’s tracks are lower at 16BIt/44.1k. AptX Adaptive more so. The amount of compression might be insignificant.

Now, if you want ANC, there are plenty of TWS with ANC and we have quite a few here, including Noble’s own H-ANC, but it does not sound as good. The level of passive isolation from the FoKus Mstyique is better than some of those cheaper ANC models and the performance is better than the feature-laden Sony flagships.

Once you start pushing out the boundaries to dongles with BT and wired IEMs then you are simply in a different market.

By: Newworld666 https://headfonics.com/noble-audio-fokus-mystique-review/#comment-16770 Mon, 06 Mar 2023 14:00:34 +0000 https://headfonics.com/?p=62397#comment-16770 No lossless codec available (Aptx Lossless or LDAC) et no ANC .. these are real limitations for such level of TWS, as far as I can make some A/B comparison between AAC/APTX vs LDAC on all of my BT receivers (iFiGoBlu, BTR7, UP4(22) with good IEM (XBA-NP3, HA-FW1800, IE600, Xelento) .. at least with Android 10+ the gap in sound quality is too huge.
