Hi Disqplay. It should be the same procedure basically. Perhaps it’s the firmware on the Synergy. Have you tried updating the Synergy DSM?

Hi GordM. You have to go to seetings, the grey icon with the cog wheel then to systems and options which is the 13th icon from top to bottom and it’s orange colored with an arrow facing up. Language should be the first on top inside that menu. Good luck. If you need more help, chime in or you could always go to a local Chinese restaurant and ask them to do it for you. I did that once and had dinner at the same time. General Tsu chicken and Dumplings. ;- )
